The new Dürr Dental Perio combines diagnostic quality and aesthetics. Image plates combine the advantages of flexible X-ray films with modern digital technology. Dürr Dental has set the standard in this sector with the VistaScan : high diagnostic quality, space-saving, central installation, convenient operation, rapid - and equipped with everything needed in the normal surgery routine.
The image storage system delivers first class images. A resolution of up to 40 line pairs per millimeter provides as least as good quality as the classic VistaScan. Most image storage systems currently offered by other manufacturers can only offer between eight and twelve line pairs per millimeter. The images provided by VistaScan Perio are as good as any classic images in diagnostic clarity and image dynamics. The sophisticated PCS-Technology (Photon-Collecting-System) from Dürr Dental can here guarantee extremely efficient exploitation of the X-ray information present on the image plate.

VistaScan Perio shows its paces in the surgery through its quick delivery. Thanks to its high scanning speed it can, for example, produce between eight and twelve completely ready digital images in from 30 to 35 seconds. The VistaScan Perio can accept as „Input“ eight image plates using a cassette system ready for fully automatic processing. The „Output“ is delivered not just as digitalised images, but these are provided together with the reusable image plates which have been erased fully automatically and are therefore immediately ready to be used again.
Where a conventional X-ray has been converted to digital, the process of taking images is practically the same as before. The existing X-ray appliance can continue to be used as before. Thanks to the thin, flexible and cordless image plates the use of this system is also MORE COMFORTABLE for the patient - as under the use of conventional film.
