The newly developed PaX-500 ECT provides CT level high quality cross-sectional and 3D rendered images targeting dental implant specialists and exactly meets the current market demands for economical CT with relatively low X-ray exposure to the patient. PaX-500 ECT also provides “Scout viewer” function to position the patient before scanning without impression material which is normally used by other tomography equipments to correct the patient position consuming around 20 minutes. In addition, PaX-500 ECT takes only 8 seconds of scanning time. PaX-500 ECT uses image reconstruction algorithm like a CT.
The area sensor is adopted as a detector, which enables you to have 3D rendered image. All these technological advances serve to considerably reduce (up to about 1-tenth) the radiation exposure to the patient compared to other conventional tomography equipments.
The 3 in 1 solution (panoramic, cephalometric and tomogram) allows accurate diagnosis and treatment planning is fast and accurate as multiple cross-sectional and panoramic images can be obtained through a single scan.
